Ran Li is a second year master’s student in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at UNC-CH  in the Interdisciplinary Health Communication track. She graduated from Beijing International Studies University with a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature. She focuses on the usability and message design of social media for sexual content both in America and in China. Before starting her master’s life at UNC, she was a research assistant studying metacognition, especially the impact of encoding and retrieval clues on precision of metacomprehension monitoring. She always encourages herself to keep going just like what Homeless to Harvard: The Liz Murray Story says :”It would be a reach, It’s not impossible.”
