The UNC Minority Health Conference is one of the largest and longest-running student led conferences in the nation. This year’s theme will explore the historic and systematic sources of power within our society and communities. It will highlight opportunities for researchers, students, and practitioners from various disciplines to learn from each other and to work together to identify best practices for fostering inclusive strategies for change and advocate for those whose voices are not heard. In addition to keynote speakers and breakout sessions, the 2017 Minority Health Conference will also feature an interactive skill-building workshop for attendees.
The deadlines for abstract submission are Friday, December 9 at 5pm for posters and Sunday, November 13 at 5pm.
Full abstract guidelines can be found here.
The conference itself will take place on February 24th, 2017 at the William & Ida Friday Center in Chapel Hill, NC. You can register now!
