Stephanie Lee completed a Master’s degree in library science and a Certificate in interdisciplinary health communication (IHC) in May 2013. As a master student, her project was about evaluating teen health information which is provided by North Carolina public libraries’ websites. Currently, she is a project assistant and doctoral student at the School of Library and Information Studies, UW-Madison. Her research interests primarily focus on health information needs and seeking behaviors among underprivileged group of people in the United States. In the context of increasing importance of interdisciplinary studies, she realized that communicating with peers from diverse departments in IHC program was one of the most invaluable experiences in her life.
