Colloquia

The series of colloquia, based at the School of Journalism and Mass Communication, is a vibrant forum for bringing invited speakers to the UNC-Chapel Hill campus, and provides an opportunity for faculty and students to be exposed to cutting-edge scholarship in a variety of domains. In addition to faculty from several departments and schools on campus--including IHC affiliated faculty--the interdisciplinary series also invites scholars from other universities and organizations.

Typically, two to three colloquia talks every semester will be explicitly related to health communication, and several other talks will discuss research with theoretical and applied implications for health communication.
